Matched Betting Experiment - Day 8

Current profit: $309.56.

So I’ll be honest. The last 2 days of low or negative returns is really affecting me. I understand that the losing bets will lead to a profit, but I’m having trouble shaking this feeling. It’s disheartening and making me lose motivation. I’m hoping for some profit today to set my mind at ease.

Before reviewing my activity, I want to mention withdrawals. I have not withdrawn any money up to this point. Yesterday I requested 2 withdrawals. The first with a sportsbook called Bet Jack. They advise you that all withdrawals are reviewed then the funds will be sent immediately. This happened very quickly and I had the funds transferred to my PayPal account in about 30 minutes. I also placed a withdrawal request with Bally Bet. They too advise you that all withdrawals will be reviewed. But after 24 hours, the withdrawal is still pending. This reminds me of a video I watched about avoiding suspicion and maintaining healthy trading accounts. I’ve mentioned previously of betting activity that can raise red flags for the sportsbooks. This can lead to your account being limited or banned. In the video, they said that your account will be reviewed when a withdrawal is initiated. I decided I don’t actually need that money, so I cancelled the withdrawal. This gave me an idea which I’ll discuss later. Please remember that this type of betting is completely legal and there is no concern of the sportsbook keeping your money. But do know that withdrawal times can vary greatly.

On to the fun. I end up placing 5 bets today. 3 bets are placed with the bonus bets I’ve gathered over the last 2 days. 1 is a new risk free bet (again, I have 1 of these each day for 10 days). And the last bet is an experiment.

Now I’ve seen that the return on my bonus bets can vary quite a bit. From around 70% up to 85%. I’ve been playing fast and loose, so I haven’t been carefully selecting matches to maximize my return. And since it’s Monday, the betting options are limited. I place my 3 free bets with the best returns I can find. As I stated earlier, I’m ready for some wins.

My risk free or “No Sweat” bet is made with an expected loss of around $17.

Finally, my experiment. As I stated above, withdrawals may lead to a review of my account and lead to unwanted attention. My idea is that I can simply use bets to move my money around. Of course, there is no guarantee of the outcome regardless of the odds. But this is something I want to toy with. So I want to move some money out of the Bally Bet account. I place a bet with another sportsbook that, if won, will let me move part of my balance out of Bally with no account review.

Tuesday morning. Let’s see what I’ve done! My free bets bring in the profit. I make, $70.50, $74.75 & $85. My risk free bet loses $17.91 but supplies me with a $100 bonus bet. And my experiment works. I manage to move some money out of my Bally Bet account. And because I used the ProfitDuel tools to find a beneficial bet, I make $1.15 on the deal.

8 day profit: $523.05.

For some dumb reason I needed a win today. And I got it.

I’ll be back tomorrow with an update.
